More Happenings............
Well back to last Monday and Bek's court case. We were at Frankston Court House (trailer trash galore) from 10am and at 3.15pm we found out that the little so and so had the case adjourned. How can someone who had over a year to face his charges get it adjourned so he can get proper legal advice? It is very frustrating. So back we go in August and back we go again until he has his day. By then my cold had flared up and I got a cold sore. I went to work for half a day Tuesday then had Wed off feeling very crap. Wednesday afternoon my sister and 2 nieces arrived from Qld. Taylor and I were at the airport and Taylor was standing at the door watching everyone come out, not exactly sure of who we were looking for! She hasn't seen them since August last year so wouldn't have remembered them. It was my sisters birthday the day she came so we went our for dinner to our local bistro - The South Oakleigh Club.
Thursday night Tarsha my oldest niece who is 15 and I went to Gold class cinemas to see Pirates of the Caribbean. We indulged and had a 3 course meal each. By the time I got home I was exhausted and so full of food!
Friday Tarsh came and watched Taylor go swimming. All the other toddlers didn't turn up so Taylor had a one on one which was great. Jacqui came up and we went to Chadstone for some retail therapy. Not that I needed any but wanted to get my nails done so I did that while Jacqui was in the self help section at Borders.
I said to Jacqui when were in there, I hope that my daughter isn't in the self help section when she's my age to work out what I did wrong In bringing her up!
I went to work Saturday and was supposed to work Sunday but too ANOTHER day off. (Lucky i have oodles of leave) Taylor and I went to Ocean Grove to see my Aunty Kay and met up with my dad and Tracey there.
After Sun Mon and Tues off work I go back tomorrow then my sister and nieces go home on Thursday. Its gone very quick but we'll be up there in August/Sept to see Tarsh do her Deb ball - very excited about that!
Haven't been scrapping much at all, lost my creative juices. Instead my Aunty gave me someone in the family to research. My grandmothers uncle was in Aradale ( a mental asylum in Ararat) He apparently spent about 60 years in there for murder (?). All I found out last night when I spent hours on the births deaths and marriages was that he was born in 1902 and died in the prison in 1982 age 80. Have to dig deeper which will be interesting. I wish I had more time to do my family tree, done a lot but theres so much more to do.
Tracey and Steph should be arriving here shortly to stay the night so best be off. Will post some photos too.

It's all happening.................
Where do the days and weeks go. Life is just so busy, so are the roads! I think there is so much more traffic around than ever before, it seems to take longer to get anywhere these days no matter what time of day. Anyway last week I took a mental health day to"catch up'' on life (i.e scrapbook). Now I have cursed myself because I came down with a cold the next day and had to go to work.
So the last couple of weeks. I have caught up with a couple of friends that I hadn't seen for a while. Simone cooked us a lovely meal at her place in Canterbury and let Taylor make a mess. Taylor showed her choicemaking skills that night too in regards to what she was wearing. For once I didnt put her in pink, she had red leggings on. I tried to put some new white shoes on but she insisted on wearing her pink crocs. It so did not go but she went like that anyway.
We had dinner with Jacqui and Caleb at the Riviera in Seaford, great food there and always booked out even on a Thursday night! We had lunch on Friday with my other dear friend Bek and her little boy Sam. Taylor was so vague at swimming on Friday, she has been out of sorts too. Teething again and a cold on top.
Friday arvo Taylor needed to get out so good excuse to hit the sales at Southland (and she loves that playground there). Didnt buy much there, being a bit conservative with money for a change! Anyway, yesterday it was Chadstone (Gee I love living smack bang between the two!)
My georgeous husband must have been in a great mood yesterday (or he felt sorry for me cos I had this massive coldsore come up on my lip that had its own postcode. lol.) He bought me this coat I had my eye on for a while from Esprit (LOVE Esprit stuff) He didnt complain at all while I browsed the shops and he pushed Taylor around in the pram until she went to sleep!
My mission was to buy some jeans and shoes for Taylor but that didnt heappen . I bought her other stuff instead that she didnt need. As you do. I had a snooze on the couch yesterday arvo and John and Taylor came back with some flowers for me, very spoilt! And to top off the night nicely, Jacqui and Caleb looked after Taylor for us while we had a nice quiet dinner at The Black Angus in Mornington. (Yummy steakhouse).
Now today I feel like total crap, the shopping, cold weather and late night have caught up on me and my coldsore is still there.
Busy week coming up, tomorrow I'm going with Bek to court to see the dickhead that caused her car accident get charged. Hope he pays for what he did, the impact he has had on her life and her family has been massive.
On Wednesday my sister Tracey and her 2 kids Steph and Tarsha are coming down from Qld for a week. Yay! We havent seen them since we went up there last August.
And between all that I have work at some stage too!
Till next time

This little baby girl is the newest edition to the Lynch Family, Ruby May. John's son Rikki and his wife Lauren gave birth on Monday 28Th May. So she is actually my step granddaughter and Taylor's niece. (yes we are a unique family). Taylor met her yesterday which was a bit special. She was wondering what all the fuss was about!
